Five stars indeed! I love this salon! The staff is super friendly and professional. My hairdresser Coralee is absolutely meticulous with my cut and colour. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Once again I have cut my long hair off thanks to Madi Noakes-green from Waves on the Lake Salon !! It’s so funky and beautiful, I get tons of compliments!! I love all the girls there !! They always have my products I need as well.

My daughter had her hair done by Waves for her grad. It turned out beautifully and she received tuns of complements on it. The staff at Waves was accommodating and provided us excellent customer service even though our schedule was a bit crazy.

I have been going to waves on the lake for seven years now and Madi has been my go to stylist even as i was living 7 hours away for three years. I believe their team has a wonderful dynamic which is the foundation of any successful business and their stylists are both honest and skilled. I would highly recommend checking it out so you can see for yourself. Thanks for being so wonderful ladies!

Wow! I recently moved to Nelson and was looking for a hairdresser but everyone of course is booked for the next five weeks. Amy from Waves was available but is a junior stylist. I was desperate to get my greys coloured before starting a new job, and thought even if the colour wasn’t incredible least the greys would be covered and my hair grows fast. But OMG!!! Not only were my colour and cut fabulous, but my hair had been looking very dry and brittle and I had one piece in the front of my naturally curly hair that was going straight. I thought it was just age related changes. But after my cut and colour my hair is the healthiest it’s looked in ages. I will definitely be going back and definitely will book Amy!! Thanks so much Amy!!

Waves is amazing! Whenever I walk in the place always has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff are always laughing and smiling as they engage with their clients. Madi is my go stylist and every time I go in I'm happy with the results! You can tell she takes pride in her job and I love every hair cut I have ever gotten with her! Thanks to Madi and the rest of the team at Waves, you guys rock!

I've had my hair done many times at this salon and I can honestly say it will probably be the only place I get my hair done anymore. The service is top notch and I've always left feeling happy and way more confident in my hair. Madi in particular is a great colourist/stylist and from what I have seen from the other ladies their work there is always amazing. Would 10/10 recommend.

Amy was my stylist & she did such an amazing job on my hair. I got my balayage lightened and I couldn't be more happier with the results !! I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thanks again Amy, keep killing it ! (:

We went to a different salon and they messed up my daughter's first salon hair cut she was devastated. They fit us in within an hour, and turned a scaring experience for her into a great one. The stylist engaged with my daughter and made her feel at ease. She did a fantastic job on her hair and even gave tips on products and future styling. I will definitely take my daughter straight here next time. Thank you
